I am Joannie Dubé, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I have worked in the field of community services for the past five years supporting children with developmental disabilities and adults diagnosed with various mental health disorders. I spent three years implementing recreational programs for elderly people and I am familiar with the challenges of aging and related diseases such as dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions. I also have experience with supporting adult children who are caregivers for their aging parents.
Issues that I address with my clients range from relationships problems, family conflicts, self-esteem, stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, to chronic pain.
When working with me, you can expect warmth, compassion, and an authentic demeanor. I am committed to making our sessions as comfortable as possible to help you address the uncomfortable. While I consider myself goal oriented, I will accompany you through your moments of self-discovery, self-doubt, and complete stagnation. Everyone’s journey is different, and healing happens when we give it time and space: space for integration, processing, and being. I will honour your process as we look at what is meaningful to you and what resonates with you.
My creative brain loves to look at people holistically. I work from a person-centered lens to which I integrate various therapeutic approaches to best suit the needs of each of my clients. I am a big fan of mindfulness and anything somatic.
I embrace diversity and strive to be a safe person for individuals from all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and walks-of-life.
I am happy to meet you in person or virtually, and I offer my services in English and French.

My name is Taylor Hagerman and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO. My masters degree is in Counselling Psychology and I have an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Psychology. During my masters degree I completed my clinical practicum hours providing trauma counselling to survivors of sexual violence, where I practiced a variety of therapeutic modalities with both individuals and groups.
Prior to starting my psychotherapy journey I have had several years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of roles with individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges including complex mental health disorders, addictions, homelessness, developmental delays, neurodivergence and complex trauma.
I believe in a holistic, client-centered and collaborative approach to psychotherapy. I believe that the client is the expert in their own story and a counsellors job is to provide the space, tools and support to aid in the clients journey to personal growth. I believe that change and healing is possible and that all people have unique qualities and experiences. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard and valued. I strive to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where we can work together to identify your values, strengths, and the steps you want to take to move forward. I believe in incorporating a variety of therapeutic approaches to best fit the clients individual needs and goals.
I am passionate about working with youth and young adults to manage a variety of mental health related challenges. This includes, but is not limited to; trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergence, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, coping with daily stressors, and relationships.

I am a mom to two energetic, determined, beautiful little humans. whom I share with my very supportive and encouraging husband. We have been on a crash course of parenting since 2016.
Originally from Ontario, we moved to British Columbia in 2019, so I could pursue a career in counselling. As of August 2022, we are heading back to Ontario, to start our next chapter as a family and settle into a new town, Kingston, ON. Hoping to continue to connect with what we love; nature, exploring, adventure, and all that the outdoors has to offer.
In my work as a counsellor, I have had the pleasure of working and assisting a variety of clients of all ages, genders and abilities work through their concerns and issues. These include trauma; physical, verbal, sexual, and psychological, grief, addictions, acquired brain injuries, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety.
One of my strengths as a counsellor is my ability to help a client tune out the noise, and focus on the root of the concern. I strive to be a patient partner in the journey and allow clients to go at their own pace during the counselling process.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to connecting soon.
